Sledding and Snowmen

Nick is rooting for the Giants... or shall I say, against the Patriots, in the Superbowl. This snowman was built to get a reaction out of Rachel, I think. Maybe that's why her and Ty were chucking snowballs at it - and at Nick. Ha ha!!!

Tay was digging in the snow for treasure all day and was thrilled when the Jones kids joined her. Then Tim grabbed a kiddie pool and used it as a sled for the kids.



We have a SWEET hill perfect for sledding right next to our house :)
The girls were either pooped or blown away at the thrill of the ride.

Erin brought Ella all bundled up and smiling. I love that face!!!

And I got Ethan to half-smile for the camera as we hiked up the hill. He would grunt with determination on every step.



I love these action shots and their animated faces! Check out Tyler's hand dragging in the snow like a brake. I hope none of them have bruised behinds!

I'm tagging Nick and describing him myself:

Since Nick wanted to get involved in our blog, I decided to describe him like I did myself (after being "tagged.")
Nick is:
1. Thoughtful - I believe it is rare among men. Nick picks up on clues, he listens, he puts a lot of thought into gifts, and tries to make things special.
2. Loyal - to family, friends, at work... ya know... hard-working, dedicated, and honest. He goes to work even when he doesn't feel good if he knows they need him.
3. Laid-back - relaxed, NOT uptight or anxious, having fun means EVERYTHING to him. He can't stand stressful environments even if he works well in them.
4. Funny - humorous, spontaneous, likes to laugh and make others laugh. I always give him props when he comes up with "new material." He is even sort of a trend setter with funny phrases or ways of saying things. :) People say he reminds them of Kevin James, but Nick's humor is PG rated... and he's not exactly a stand-up comedian!
5. Sincere - he's genuinely a kind-hearted guy with good intentions and no false-pretenses.
6. Independent - a leader... wishes he could be his own boss... hates it when I tell him what to do... senior class prez - he and his committee are planning out their 10 year H.S. reunion for this summer. Can't wait!!!
7. An AWESOME Dad - he really has fun with Taylor - they wrestle, read, & pretend. He LOVES her - and you can tell when you watch them together. :) He is helpful and considerate doing his share of the parenting. Thank goodness!

So that's Nick - well, of course not everything, so if you want to add to that, please comment below. :) I would like to say thanks to his wonderul parents for raising such a high-quality son. He comes from a FANTASTIC family (and extended family) who all love spending time together. My kind of people :)
